HELISET TŦE SḰÁL Let the Languages Live
In observance of the 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages declared by the UN, ConnectSeven was appointed by the First Peoples' Cultural Council to create a barrier-free international gathering of people, culture, and language. Bringing together over 1000 in-person Indigenous leaders, language experts, speakers, learners and advocates from around the globe, the event was simulcast for even further reach and participation. Many had never traveled before and some, being the last living speaker of their language, were vital to include at this important event. People still talk about it as the best language conference they have ever been to.

The event was an inspiration with the winning idea bieng implemented in full force. Planning for 2022 is already underway.
