Alexis Cooper

Strategic Partnerships, Project Manager

With over 15 years of experience in the event planning, sponsorship and hospitality industries, Alexis Cooper is passionate about well planned, and seamlessly executed events and partnerships.

At ConnectSeven Alexis is responsible for crafting creative sponsorship strategies as well as working with the team on building tourism strategies and planning events that are engaging and innovative.

Alexis is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and has produced events of all scopes and sizes. Alexis has worked with TED to produce their annual conference and TED Global conference, giving her the opportunity to create truly unique and creative events and spaces with the event partners and stakeholders.

Alexis recently worked on the production of the G7 2018 as well as working with THNK Vancouver to execute events for external clients as well as the THNK School of Creative Leadership at The Home.

Prior to this, she worked with MCI Group in sponsorship sales and fulfilment in their conferences services division where she worked with a team to execute conferences ranging from 300 to 5000 people.

To help round out her planning experience, Alexis worked with corporate clients such as Johnson & Johnson and HSBC to produce memorable and innovative incentive travel programs, corporate meetings and events ranging from very small groups to larger groups of up to 800 people.

Alexis started working in 3rd party planning during the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver where she worked on hospitality programs for different groups during the games.

Before making the jump into 3rd party event planning, Alexis comes from a hospitality background working at resorts and hotels such as Claridge's Hotel in London and Loden Hotel in Vancouver.

With a keen eye for detail and a broad background to draw from, Alexis works with the C7 team to exceed our client's expectations on every project.
